Information like your name, age, location, and browsing habits becomes part of a larger system that influences what you see online and decisions about key aspects of your life. Biased data and algorithms can lead to biased decisions that reinforce inequalities. Understanding how data flows and is used empowers you to make better choices about your online safety, protect your privacy, and influence the fairness of the digital ecosystem.
