    Once you have your blog set up, you're going to have to be inspired 0:00
    to create content on a regular basis. 0:03
    Some days this is going to be easier than others. 0:05
    The way I get through it, is to always be consuming. 0:08
    This doesn't mean just going out to the tech blogs or the news sites. 0:12
    It means to be consuming on a variety of platforms from a variety of sources. 0:16
    For me, I love reading magazines. 0:19
    I read the in-flight magazines when I travel because I never know what I'm going to find. 0:22
    It also means reading books. 0:25
    I try to look at other sites that maybe I'm not going to on a regular basis. 0:27
    But I'm always consuming, because you never know when something's going to inspire you. 0:30
    Now, you want to make sure that what you're consuming is not the same old, same old. 0:35
    Because that's going to limit your scope. 0:40
    It's going to limit what you're taking in, and thus, what you're going to produce. 0:42
    Take some time to get some variety in there. 0:45
    Look at images, photography websites, 0:48
    go watch videos beyond just YouTube and silly cats. 0:51
    Go out to other sites like Vimeo and other video-sharing platforms 0:54
    to consume content from there. 0:58
    By expanding your horizons and consuming content from a variety of sources, 1:00
    you never know what's going to inspire you. 1:04
    And you've got to find inspiration. 1:06
    Because if you're creating boring, bland content, nobody's going to want to consume that. 1:08
    Think about what gets your attention. 1:14
    You're either educated, inspired, or entertained. 1:16
    Keep those three things in mind, because as you produce content, 1:19
    those are the three sort of things that are going to grab people's attention, 1:22
    make them come back to you, as well as share it with others. 1:25
