Your task is to create a subclass of Vehicle, named Car, that adds an additional stored property numberOfSeats of type Int with a default value of 4.
I completed this task. However, my playground shows the value as __lldb_expr_98.Car. I tried print function to see if there are anything different but it showed the same. Is this some sort of error?
class Car:Vehicle { let numberOfSeats: Int = 4 }
let someCar = Car(withDoors: 4, andWheels: 4)
class Vehicle {
var numberOfDoors: Int
var numberOfWheels: Int
init(withDoors doors: Int, andWheels wheels: Int) {
self.numberOfDoors = doors
self.numberOfWheels = wheels
}
}
// Enter your code below

class Vehicle {
var numberOfDoors: Int
var numberOfWheels: Int
init(withDoors doors: Int, andWheels wheels: Int) {
self.numberOfDoors = doors
self.numberOfWheels = wheels
}
}
// Enter your code below
class Car: Vehicle
{
let numberOfSeats: Int = 4
}
let someCar = Car(withDoors: 4, andWheels: 5) //returns class Car in the gutter
print(someCar.numberOfSeats) // prints 4
print(someCar.numberOfDoors) // prints 5
print(someCar.numberOfWheels) // prints 4

Courses Plus Student 14,604 PointsHey buddy its not an error your getting kind of a raw value back but it you print a specific property like: print("(car.numberOfDoors)") you will get more specific values. I hope this helps.
