HTML How to Make a Website CSS: Cascading Style Sheets Center the Wrapper

Yet another person having difficulty with main.css.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Gary Causer | Analog Designer  </title>
    <link rel="sylesheet" href="css/normalize.css">
    <link rel="sylesheet" href="css/main.css">
  </head>

OK, that's what I've got. What have I missed? Why won't any of my changes to css.main show up? Yes, I've refreshed the browser. No, I haven't put the title of my document in caps. main.css is in the css folder.

Here's what I coded in main.css:

main.css
a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
  padding: 0 5%;
  background: green;
}

Nothing happening yet. Couldn't change the background color either. hmmm? Mozilla? thank you, smart people.

Hey Gary,

you're writing "sylesheet" instead of "stylesheet" in both rel attributes, if you fix that it should work, good luck! :)

You gotta be kidding me! I knew it was a syntax problem, but I just couldn't see it!!! Thanks. Learning how to code is very humbling.

No problem. Don't let small mistakes like this demotivate you, it will get better! :)
