3,153 Points"Wrong number of prints?" -- I don't know what the error references, I don't know where to alter my code.
I've been stuck on this for a while now. I have no idea what the "Bummer" message is referring to so I am lost in finding a solution.
I have moved the while loop all over the program and can't seem to shake this error. Any help?
import random

def even_odd(num):
# If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
return not num % 2
def game():
while start:
random.randint(1, 99)
if even_odd(num) == True:
print("{} is true".format(num))
else:
print("{} is odd".format(num))
start -= 1

You're close, but there are a few key problems. The game() function is not necessary, and the conditional for even_odd(num) is simply if even_odd(num):
. Also, you forgot to assign the randomized number to the variable num
.
import random
start = 5
def even_odd(num):
# If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
return not num % 2
while start:
num = random.randint(1,99)
if even_odd(num):
print("{} is even".format(num))
else:
print("{} is odd".format(num))
start -= 1
