you're on the right track,

The example asks for you to create a function, so you do not need the last two lines of your code.

also the function should print "Hi " X number of times, so it doesn't need to return anything either.

You had the right idea with the (count) * "Hi ", you just need to put the string and the variable inside the parenthesis, like this: (count * "Hi ")

so in all you should get something like this:

def printer(count):
      print(count * "Hi ")
