wp_enqueue_style to functions.php I get this

I get this message, what does it mean?

Notice: Use of undefined constant theme_styles - assumed 'theme_styles' in /wp-content/themes/bootstrap-wp/functions.php

This is my functions.php file:

    wp_enqueue_style( 'bootstrap_css', get_template_directory_uri() . '/css/bootstrap.min.css' );
}
add_action('wp_enqueue_scripts', theme_styles);

Try putting single quotes around theme_styles and see if that works.

function theme_styles() {
    wp_enqueue_style( 'bootstrap_css', get_template_directory_uri() . '/css/bootstrap.min.css' );
}
add_action('wp_enqueue_scripts',  'theme_styles');
?>
