When we start doing functional coding, what type of workspace will we use? ie. Is there a program I can download to my desktop? I'm sure I won't be using Treehouse's workspace when I begin coding in the "real world".

11,368 PointsHi James! There's a lot of text editors you can use for coding, you have Sublime Text, NotePad++, Dreamweaver (jk), brackets and a large etc...Also for some of your code to run you need to set up some kind of virtual host and install HTTP servers (like Apache) or interpreters like for PHP. There's a whole new wolrd and you might just start with these things and build up from there :)!
Hope you find this answer helpful!
