Working With Loops

Hi guys, I am stuck on the two challenge tasks. Can someone help me? Thanks

loops.swift
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

// Enter your code below

while counter < numbers.count {
  counter <
}

You need to extract each element in the 'numbers' array using the counter variable and then finally add all the elements in order to get the sum. Don't forget to increment the counter variable by 1 or else it would lead to an infinite loop. Hope this helps :)

let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

// Enter your code below
while counter < numbers.count{

var newValue = numbers[counter]
sum = sum + newValue
counter += 1
}

Thanks kasaltrix!

Hej Thanks for the help, I was stuck at the same problem, because it was not dealt with in the videos how we can extract something out of an array inside a while loop. It was very confusing. Also I do not understand how this works because xcode doesnt compute this while loop for me and shows me no sum values.
