Since the objects are different even though have the same properties But i have tried using the to.be.equal on clone() But failed
var expect = require('chai').expect
describe('clone', function () {
var clone = require('./clone.js')
it('some description string', function () {
// YOUR CODE HERE
expect(clone(objectForCloning)).to.be.ok;
})
})
function clone (objectForCloning) {
return Object.assign({}, objectForCloning)
}
module.exports = clone;

Since you're testing that a copy is valid, it makes sense that you would use "to.be.equal", but you may have omitted a few things:
- you'll need to create a sample object to be cloned first
- you'll need to perform the clone function on the sample object
- your test will require an extra element in the chain to account for the properties inside the object
- that extra element is what they were hinting you might want to check the documentation for
