433 PointsWork space deleted my work!!!
I've been saving my work through out every video. Work space lost signal so I had to reload work space. Once it reloaded all of my work was gone. Any way to get it back and anything I can do to protect myself from that happening again?

1,769 PointsJust read in another thread this response to the same issue a couple hours ago:
"Sorry about that! It looks like there was just a problem loading up the files. We took a look, and reverted one of our changes, so you should be able to access your workspace now."
I'm guessing(and hoping), it's the same/similar error and they'll be back online soon with no deleted work. :)
Edit: I should probably mention I'm working on the Python courses, so this issue seems to be site-wide.

Very educational if you think about it.

1,769 PointsMine are all gone too. The exact same thing happened to me at the exact same time as you(about seven minutes ago). Every work space I have is empty. I'm hoping it's a temporary glitch.

433 PointsThanks for the reply. I hope that's all it is as well. We should be able to save the work to our own computer.

15,106 PointsMe too. This JUST happened.
I tried accessing workspaces from chrome, firefox and firefox developer's edition.
I also tried accessing it on the same broswers from Mac and from Ubuntu 14.
I get a blank workspace without a directory structure, just the name of the top level folder.
I tried interacting with the workspace from the console at the bottom using ls
, cd
, etc and it's all blank.
I did manage to create a new file using touch
and edit it using edit
. That file appeared when I refreshed the workspace.
However! The previews for the workspaces were still working fine last time I checked
