Hi, can anyone recommend a free Wordpress theme that is SEO friendly?

This website will be for blogging and advertising services offered.

Is it advisable to purchase a pro version theme or is it a slight con to get you to spend money. Can’t any changes be made to theme and site with relevant knowledge on how to do so without paying for a pro version?

You can sort free themes from the WordPress repository by including search terms.
