Should I start wordpress track first or should I start wordpress development

I would recommend doing the "Learn WordPress" track first. The reason for this is that if you cant navigate the WordPress dashboard on the same level as a user you will find the videos harder to follow when moving onto WordPress development.
This track is not long at all and takes you through the basics of WordPress in general.
After that you should have a solid foundation for starting the "WordPress Development" track.
To be honest if you are not to familiar with PHP I would have a go "PHP Basics" course to. This will just help you follow along with more of the code rather than doing what I did in the beginning and just copying it with no real idea of what it was doing or how.

10,153 PointsViewing the development section first as a Strategy has the enormous benefit of developing a taxonomy of the terms used by the instructors. Thus, when you go through the introduction, you have a view of the outcome, which helps immensely.
