3,672 PointsWindows or Linux alternatives to Garageband
Has anyone got any suggestions for alternatives to Garageband on Mac, for making game music? From what I can tell its only available on Mac.
Thanks in advance.

Treehouse Guest TeacherIf you have an iPad, there's a stripped down Garageband app that's really great. Audacity is a free music editor available for all platforms, but doesn't have a solid loops library or built in music clips. Most PC alternatives like Reason, Ableton, or Protools are amazing, but will set you back a pretty penny.
