716 PointsWhy was treehouse app discontinued?
I just wanted to know the reason behind this decision and whether the app will come back again. The reason for this question is that app lets you continue your learning while you are traveling etc. For eg. I am subscribed to coursera courses and one of the big plus point of coursera is that they have an interactive app which lets you watch videos and take quizzes which is convenient. You are not on your laptop and computer every time. I am saving money to buy a laptop but since I only have PC, the app would have been convenient for me. A bit disappointed to find that there is no app of treehouse while their other competitors like Udacity, Lynda, and Coursera all have their applications cause they understand this problem among learners from different countries.

Our apologies, we removed our mobile Treehouse app and are no longer supporting it at this time. The main reason is we found that it no longer met our standards for delivering our educational platform. It is definitely something that is still on our radar to hopefully bring back some day, but we don't have any sort of ETA on that at this time. We do appreciate your feedback and input about this!

716 PointsThank you for your reply. A suggestion for the app, why don't you make the app available for only those who have continuing simple and pro subscription i.e. not paused or canceled. Make a separate table for them in the database and the app connected to that table for authorization. If you make it exclusive to a selected group of people it will be good for the sales point of view as well.
