216 PointsWhy was I charged on day 1 of my free trial? I am to be charged 30 days from now so my question is I see no free days?
I was charged right away I was expecting to be charged at the end of the 7 day trial if I didn't cancel by then, like every other free trial anyone signs up for.
It says:
"You will be charged $25 on Jan 20, 2018 Last charge Dec 20, 2017"
Not counting that I am upset I was charged unexpectedly but even if I didn't cancel it seems I was charged today and will be charged in one month so what the heck is free? There is absolutely nothing whatsoever free here. You are going to charge me 30 days from now and you already charged me.
I would like to cancel as I am not comfortable right now the way this went down.

Something clearly went wrong there, as you say, you're supposed to be charged only when your trial expires and if you haven't canceled the subscription by then.
Luckily, whenever something like this happens Treehouse has a great support system, I recommend you to contact them to have this problem solved. You can contact them using this address: help@teamtreehouse.com
I hope you don't let this stop you from learning here, It's a great school with a great community of students. And if you do decide to stay: Welcome! :)
I hope that helps,
Jonas

216 PointsHere is what you put right before I enter payment info when signing up:
"Youβre almost there!
We just need a valid form of payment to finish signing you up. This is to reduce fraud and make sure you wonβt have any interruptions with billing. Donβt worry, you wonβt be charged $25 until your free trial has ended on December 27, 2017."
So you see how Its pretty lame I was charged. All this from a website that is supposed to teach me the right way to build a website that accepts payments like that. ironic.
