29,582 PointsWhen you are select every 4th type, you need to use "nth-of-type(4n)" instead of "nth-child(4n)".
"nth-child(4n)" will only select the 4th li in this case, instead of every 4th li.

would work too but there's nothing wrong with using nth-child
for this and it would probably be more appropriate to use nth-child since the only children are li's. nth-of-type
is good when you have a mixture of siblings.
The problem was with the spacing around the colon as you noted in your comment.
