Why the column that we referencing is genre(id)? Why not just (id)

Still confuse with the FOREIGN KEY most of it part and the UPDATE at the end of this video,its name make me head ache.

I know this is like a month after your question but the reason is that genre(id) tells it to use the "id" column from the "genre" table. If you just did "id" it would look for an "id" column on the "movies" table.

(Or perhaps it wouldn't work because FOREIGN_KEY was specified, but regardless it needs to know which foreign table to look at)
