Why should we configure Webpack for React ourselves when there is a create-react-app (even workshop on Treehouse)?

It's one thing to use something and another to understand it. This is a pretty high level overview of Webpack but let's you see what is happening under the create-react-app hood slightly, with how you set up the basics for a build step. Important knowledge you should definitely not skip :)
