Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 33,271 Pointsin the last line, the argument for the format method just needs to be the string display_menu, you don't need to join again. the way you have it with the second join, it is putting commas between each letter.

so when you're using the .format()
operation all you need to do is pass in that string and it will insert it where the placeholder is.
