Why my code doesn't accept?

def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        str_item = str(item)
        if str_item[0] == 'a':
            continue

Hi Evgeny,

To pass this challenge you would need to use the else statement for when the if statement code doesn't execute. The else is to print out the current item. Here is the below code to show you what I mean if you are unsure:

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item[0] == "a":
            continue
        else:
            print(item)
