Hey Kevin,

It's not just you - I had a hard time in that course too. I think what made it hard for me was that it was the first time I'd seen the inner workings of a UI and didn't realize it was so complex.

If you don't mind me giving some advice: don't worry if you feel like you're not understanding everything. Some things will be easier for you to understand than others. Nothing wrong with that - we've all got our strengths/weaknesses :). I think Craig even says something like that at the end of the course, so maybe you can skip there and see what he says. Also, don't be discouraged - just keep plugging along and trying to understand new concepts and build new projects. At some point, you'll be able to come back to courses and problems that were intimidating or you didn't understand and you'll solve them - it's a great feeling :)!

Sorry, I didn't stick with JavaFX after the course, so I didn't look into any additional resources.
