Why isn't String name = console.readLine(); correct?

The question is asking me to use the readLine() method to receive a value for the variable name. The code I used was: String name = console.readLine(); why is this code incorrect?

Multiple.java
// I've imported java.io.Console for you. It is stored in a variable called console for you.
String name;
name = console.readLine();

Hey saw your question. I'm beginner too, so I can't really explain why it gave an error, but if you put an argument inside of the readLine() method, it works. Like for example:

String name = console.readLine("Enter you name: ");

The error could be because of how the question was designed to test for answers, but your code should be valid in general.
