981 PointsHI John, yes, I did include my opening and closing html tags.. not sure why that didn't copy over. Below is all the code I have + I should mention that my normalize.css local file is located in a folder titled css and the file path is written correctly. Thanks!

2,431 PointsHi Paula!
Except for the slightly off indented style closing tag and the one space just before the title closing tag, which obviously does not have any effect on how the code works, I just can't see any problem with the code - with my very fresh limited knowledge of course. It just seems perfect.
You probably have checked it several times but the only question I have would be: Are you absolutely sure that normalize.css have not been referenced to? I mean, I haven't tried it but do you see big changes when you comment that line out, save your file and view the page again? I know it is a quite silly question.
As for the style tag, I'm not really familiar with it but I've come across something like this for the opening tag:
<style type="text/css">
I've also seen examples where it was not included (on MDN actually) but I guess you can try it out.

533 Pointsmake sure, you placed normalize.css file inside the css folder on the file/folder tree. Otherwise, this code should work fine and it's correctly referenced to normalize.css.
