Why isn't it correct?

if (firstExample.equals(secondExample)) { console.printf("first is equal to second."); System.exit(0); }

Equality.java 
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console. 
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";

if (firstExample.equals(secondExample)) {
    console.printf("first is equal to second.");
  System.exit(0);
}

Why are you using System.exit(0);?

Add an if statement that checks to see if firstExample is equal to secondExample. If it is, print out "first is equal to second".

if (firsExample.equals(secondexample) { console.printf("first is equal to second."); }

Doesn't work =(

Works fine for me..

And now I found that you are adding a period (.) at the end..
