Courses Plus Student 11,987 PointsWhy is this teaching style still used?
Once again, this is the third learning track where the teacher shows you the incorrect longer way to do things then deletes that code and rewrites it to be more precise and correct. This just confuses me to no end. When a student follows along they are taking in the info and organizing their thoughts. Having me write then rewrite code totally negates learning and doing.
So with that said, anyone reading this needs to watch the video first a few times make a note where the instructor goes off explaining the wrong way then skip to the areas where you need to pay attention to do it the right way.

It's a bit like introducing a topic in a way you're already familiar with, and then showing a newer, better way to accomplish the same thing.

Courses Plus Student 11,987 PointsI've put in a few suggestions to the staff but I guess things run slowly which is to be expected. As I move along within TeamTreehouse tracks and gaining more knowledge and experience I can start to see that some courses need to be updated.
