Why is this failing? Error did not see the write items being printed

def loopy(items): # Code goes here for item in items: if items.index(item) == 0 and item == 'a': continue print(item)

:point_right: There's a few issues here:

  • you don't need index(), that's for searching
  • you can get to the index 0 by subscripting (using brackets [])
  • you want to test index 0 of the current item, not the list of items
