Why is the line let greeting = "Hi there, /(name)" not correct as an answer for this question?

The code should be correct for this question but the code check fails???

strings.swift
// Enter your code below
let name = "Jack"
let greeting = "Hi there, /(name)"

Try using a backslash \ instead of a forward slash /.

They mean different things to Swift :)

Try this:

// Enter your code below
let name = "Jack"
let greeting = "Hi there, \(name)"

Good luck! ~alex

Hi there! You're so close here. You've typed /(name) instead of \(name). Note the direction of the slash. Make this correction, and the challenge should pass.

Good luck! :sparkles:
