why is import illegal start of expression?
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
public class IO {
public static void main(String[] args)
{

Treehouse Project ReviewerHi Asad, First of all you don't need any extra lines just what the quiz asking, the console it's already imported you just have to declare the variables firstName, after lastName. from your code you only need one line: String firstName = console.readLine("what is your name"); Read always carefully the instructions. i hope this will help you
