I'm a bit uncomfortable with the idea of downloading to my local computer. Is there any way to do this workshop without downloading anything?

Treehouse TeacherHi there! Yes, it seems there is. As you'll see at 2:22 of the video, he highlights two lines in blue. Note that it says "Use your local files". But just below that are two more lines that say "Use CDN files". These are the lines you want to use if you want the mediaelement.js files hosted from a content delivery network as opposed to your local system.
Hope this helps!

33,235 PointsHi Jennifer. Unfortunately the mediaelement page has changed since the video was made, as per the note below the link, and I couldn't find the CDN files.

Treehouse TeacherYeah, I just looked and apparently, they've removed the CDN. That being said, this is open-source on GitHub which tends to make people aware of and patch security issues. Also, we tend to look at how often a library is updated to have a sort of reference on how well it is maintained. This one had a commit just nine days ago.
Above and beyond that, the developer works at the Dallas Theological Seminary. I feel like in terms of trustworthiness, you're going to find that pretty hard to beat
