2,365 Pointswhy does it ask if i added a catch block even though i did make a catch block ?
so i did everything as i saw in the video but it seems to not like my code i guess i just want to ask what is actually wrong here ?
int value = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());
if (value < 0 || value > 20)
{
throw new System.Exception();
}
try
{
Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value));
}
catch(System.Exception)
{
Console.WriteLine("Value is out of bounds!");
}

11,790 PointsThe application does as much as it can to provide helpful hints, but sometimes it can't tell the difference between subtle things like incorrectly typed code and missing code.
This worked for me.
try
{
int value = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());
if (value < 0 || value > 20)
{
throw new System.Exception();
}
Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value));
}
catch (Exception e)
{
Console.WriteLine("Value is out of bounds!");
}

11,790 Pointsthe 'e' after Exception is totally unnecessary in this use case, but you could have done something like this:
