why does correct answer, of : mPassengersField.setText(Integer.toString(mSpaceship.getNum doesn't work?

it works fine on my system...

Try +"" instead of toString(). I have run in to that on some projects

sorry for the delay in answering mine said compiling error I did not look at your cod real close but every time i have tried to use toString () i get an error but if I switch to +"" it goes through
