574 PointsWhy does code work locally but not on website?
def just_right(string): string = str(string) strlen = len(string) if strlen < 5: print("Your string is too short") elif strlen > 5: print("Your string is too long") else: return True
Code is working locally but keep getting "Bummer! Try again!" error when checking work in Treehouse challenge code window.
strlen.just_right("Hello") True strlen.just_right("Hello World") Your string is too long strlen.just_right("Yes") Your string is too short
def just_right(string):
string = str(string)
strlen = len(string)
if strlen < 5:
print("Your string is too short")
elif strlen > 5:
print("Your string is too long")
else:
return True

with return

574 PointsYou know, I thought that was the issue but being as smart as I am, I said, "you have to print() not simply return "" surely". Thanks for the update Chris!
