307 PointsWhy didn't we use a semi-colon after if (noun.equals(dork)) { ?
I checked to see if adding a semi-colon would break anything, but it doesn't. What are the cases in which adding a semi-colon could be necessary versus unnecessary?

if (noun.equals(dork))
this statement retrurns true or false at the end of the evluation of the code, imagine after the evluation of the code u get this :
if(true) {
//do something
} else {
//do something else.
}
