I used the git log to view the commits. I used git checkout ##### to view a specific log, but when i used the cat function It showed the changes. Why is it doing that?

10,793 PointsI don't understand your question very good, so I will try to explain in general. When you use git checkout on a specific commit that is like "traveling through time" when the change happened. If you want to see state after last commit type git checkout master...
