Why Bummer: Uh oh, fatal exception occurred?

The code passes compliation but the challenge is returning 'Bummer: Uh oh, fatal exception occurred'. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong in the getRemainingCharacterCount method?

Tweet.java
class Tweet {
  public static final int MAX_CHARS=140;
  private String text;

  public Tweet(String text) {
    this.text = text;
  }

  public String getText() {
    return text;
  }

  public void setText(String text) {
    this.text = text;
  }

  public int getRemainingCharacterCount() {
    return MAX_CHARS - text.length();
  }
}

I'm also in the same situation. The code executes fine in my local machine.

Your code looks correct.

I've heard browsers can sometimes cause false failures. Try restarting your browser.

If that doesn't fix it, the challenge itself might not be working. I've seen other questions today about Java challenges where the code seemed fine. You might try submitting a bug report to the Support staff.
