Fill in the blanks to concatenate the strings together:
"He's pining " "for" " the fjords!" "He's pining for the fjords!"

595 PointsIf English is not your native language, than it might seem fast. Whenever we are learning new languages it seems like people are speaking quickly, but it is just a normal pace for them. Whenever people speak in Spanish it seems fast to me unless they are speaking slowly.

14,976 PointsThat's obviously true however when you're in a classroom setting receiving instructions from a professor it's wise for the instructor to speak at a steady pace for the audience to better grasp the concepts. Especially when it's something completely new to the participant. She's speaking as if we're all at the level she is. Glad for the slowdown feature.

4,592 PointsGee, I'm happy to have a teacher who compresses so much important information into such a short time! I was getting a little tired of watching everything at 2x and pausing when something important came up. Maybe you should try working on your listening comprehension skills, Matt, so you can get up to speed, instead of whining about the teacher's presentation.

5,373 PointsIt's mildly amusing to listen to her at -50% speed. It's a little like listening to a someone on too much morphine, with powers of staying on point that are unnervingly unnatural.
