9,757 PointsWhy are half the courses from the Beginning Java courses being retired? Should I bother learning them?
I'm on the Beginning Java track and I've just gotten to this course and it says it will be retired on July 14th so in about 2 months. There's no mention of what the replacement will be or why it is being retired. Should I hold out on completing it? Thanks

Treehouse TeacherHey there Anu Hassan ! 👋
This is because we're currently in the process of refreshing the Java material. Please continue on though. All of the content covered in these beginner courses are still 100% valid, nothing in these intro courses are incorrect. There are more advanced Java courses that we're updating because they are a bit outdated now, we figured we'd refresh everything while we're at it. So they're marked to be retired only because newer replacements are in the works. The replacements are likely going to be extremely similar to what you're watching though, so don't feel the need to wait as it may be a while before they're ready to be published.
