Hi.
My question is about this video:
Mattox says that if a light background has dark text, the area around the text is still considered white space. Is the same true if we have a dark background with light text?

19,870 PointsI think, yes, and that was his point of that discussion. I heard - "White space" is a term and the "White" doesn't pertain to actual color - so even a dark background is White space - which is all around the text.

28,149 PointsI'll second Dave, white space is a term for "breathing room" around an element, but not actually related to white, or any color for that matter.
