1,779 PointsWhich Techdegree is right for me? Also, does Treehouse offer any insight into VR/AR?
I'm a graphic designer/illustrator open to a career change, or to add to my design experience. I like the idea of the Techdegree I'm just not sure what one is for me. The two I'm most interested in are the Front Web Dev. or the Full Stack JavaScript avenues. I've built sites back in the day with Flash, Actionscript, and XML. Although I can do it, I'm just not as excited building websites. UX/UI however does interest me, as well as animation, however I'd REALLY like to get involved in VR/AR (virtual reality/augmented reality). Which Techdegree would you recommend? Or would there be another option?
Thanks!

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 56,488 PointsHi Justin,
The Front End Web Dev Techdegree includes a lot of website-building, and UX/UI is a huge part of that (Animation is pretty helpful too if it can add value to your content). But as you mentioned websites does not excite you I wouldn't recommend that Techdegree for you.
You do mention that you are really curious about VR/AR, and Treehouse do have courses on that subject. There's no Techdegree yet, but you can learn a ton and prepare for the day a Techdegree on that subject becomes available. I recommend you to take a look at the VR-track.
I hope that helps,
Jonas
