It looks like you have a typo in your CSS— you've capitalized "padding", which is probably why your padding is not working correctly.

The "gallery" ID is being used for your ul element. You can easily remove the bullets by targeting that ul. Try the following CSS:

#gallery { list-style-type: none; }
