2,174 PointsWhich is the best Web Hosting?
I have so many question, and it would be great help if anyone could give me some guidance.
I'm watching How to make a website by Nick Pettit and he recommend WebHostingForStudents by Zac Gordon
I also watched Zac Gordon course WordPress (How to make WordPress.com to self Hosted WordPress.org) and he uses Blue Host
At the Student perks, Raidhost for 25% off but do not get unlimited bandwidth unless its the most expensive one. How much bandwidth do I need?
There are so many Web Host, how do I choose? Which is the best? Which web Host does the Treehouse family use?
Do I transfer from WebHostingForStudents to Blue Host eventually? I have about 3 website in mind with commercial intent
Thanks for your reply! side note / How to create a poll?

This question will yield you a lot of answers. Also, you very likely won't stick with one host or plan for the life of the site. As the site grows, so will your hosting needs. It wouldn't be uncommon to move the site from one host to another who provides the resources you need at a good value.

Treehouse Project ReviewerMy thought would be to start with whatever works out as the best deal for you while your learning. Once you start publishing websites, if the hosting doesn't meet your needs, you can re-evaluate and try a different hosting service.

1,833 PointsIf you want to start out and just play around with some sites and just learn, GoDaddy has economy hosting with unlimited bandwidth and 100GB of space? You can find coupons all day long for economy hosting for $1/month for a year. Plus right now you get a free domain name. So for $12 you can get a year of hosting and domain name. It's good enough to run small sites on or just to have a cheap hosting account where you can build sites, break them, and build new ones. Great for just some cheap learning. Plus you get the full CPanel with email and database access. FTP services. Good and cheap!

2,650 Pointscan you make multiple websites (webhost project directories) within the one GoDaddy pakage?
I'm guessing you don't get any terminal access with that? would be good to be able to push a php project/directory from github but then you'd ideally want to run $ composer install to install dependancies

Courses Plus Student 9,058 PointsIt all depends on your needs and your budget and your expected traffic. I don't trust most web hosts that don't offer unlimited bandwidth any more because, well, most do. It also depends on your expertise, I mean AWS is probably the least expensive hosting if you can set it up right but you gotta set it up right.
As for the polls - well that depends - you can probably find a plug in - or do you want to build one from scratch and how much information do you want to track...if you want to build your own it's a multi table database for tracking poll questions, poll options, and poll responses.

28,149 PointsIt's the operating system the server runs. Generally Linux tends to be easier to set up. I'd prefer Linux over Windows. Somethings windows is necessary for a server, like if you using a windows framework to build a site.
