838 PointsWhere to write code?
I created a new public boolean method "Charged" , but the code is not working. Should I be adding in the code to a different method?
public class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_ENERGY_BARS = 8;
private String mColor;
private int mBarsCount;
public GoKart(String color) {
mColor = color;
mBarsCount = 0;
}
public String getColor() {
return mColor;
}
public void charge() {
mBarsCount = MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
}
public boolean charged(){
boolean isCharged = false;
while(!isFullyCharged()) {
mBarsCount ++;
isCharged = true;
}
return isCharged;
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return mBarsCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return mBarsCount == MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
}
}

Treehouse Moderator 145,860 PointsHey Sierra,
You're really close, but you have a spacing error. There cannot be a space between the variable and the ++
operator. So you just need to remove the space, as shown here:
mBarsCount++;
Also, just a note. The ++
operator is deprecated in Xcode 7.3 (Swift 3). It is replaced with
mBarsCount += 1;
Keep Coding!
