Hello, I am a beginner graphic designer, I've had some experience now on a program called Inkscape, and I'm still learning (or wanting to learn, rather). Right now I am interested in learning logo design, and the curves that come along with it. For anyone that is pretty familiar and/or experienced with the design courses and tracks on treehouse, I'd like to ask, which courses or tracks would be best suited for me? I saw a course on logo design on treehouse, but is that the only course I should take? Are there any other design courses that I should take before, with, or after the logo design course that may have some correlation or benefit to the logo design course? Is there a whole track that I should start? Please give me advice as I am super new to logo design, and would like to further my graphic designing skills through logo design, and see where it can take me. Thanks!

20,349 PointsLogo design can be an art unto itself, I recommend taking Treehouse's course and sketching like crazy. The best logos contain an understanding or usage of the negative space in a given shape or letterform, (arrow shape in the EX of FedEx for example) and incorporating the personality of the company with its brand colors. BrandsoftheWorld.com is also a good site to be inspired by (not steal from) Draw draw draw! Start out with just the black shape or logotype, and then bring color into it after it's fleshed out. Research and be aware of trends and current logo fashion to keep your designs from being dated looking.
