238 PointsWhere should I start if I want to learn a skill that will eventually become a remote career?
I am new to Treehouse and signed up for a free trial. I would like to learn a skill that I can transform into a remote career. There are so many different courses offered I don't know where to start. Tech degree sounds like it would land me a good job but it's a bit more than what I wanted to pay. Suggestions?

If anything finishing the front-end web development track, can give you the skill set necessary to work as a freelancer, which for the most part is pretty much remote.
Understand though, if you are looking to work full-time for a bigger company don't expect to be able to be remote full-time, expect to show up the office at least 2 - 3 times a month for meetings. In bigger companies remote work is generally reserved for outsourced engineers/freelancers or more experienced developers (anyone who really isn't an intern or junior developer)
