i can't find the git program on my mac and was wondering if someone could help me find it

47,913 PointsIt's a command line package, so you'd access it with the Terminal app (usually in the "Utilities" folder in Launchpad). Open it and type git status
to see if it's working. If it says something like git: Command not found
, you'll have to install Xcode from the Mac App Store, open it, and when you're prompted to install the "Command Line Tools", make sure to do so. After that, git should be successfully installed
