where image kept after build command?

when doing docker build, where the image kept? on docker host? if so how can i see it? need store images on local repo.

While you should really just be sharing/storing the Dockerfile as good practices because this builds your image, you can manually set the storage driver with the -s or --storage-driver option to the Docker daemon.
