Where does saves.get('color') come from?

In around 4:00 in the video, Kenneth uses saves.get('color'). If I understood correctly, saves is the cookies (in dict format). But when I inspected the page, it only had the "name" cookie.

Here's the line he wrote:

{% if cookies['color'] == color %}checked{% endif %}

Help appreciated! :zap: ~Alex

The object saves is put into the template context using the render_template function. The value of saves is set to the get_saved_data function output, which gets its values from the cookies passed in the request.

Post back if you need more help. Good luck!!
