Where could I find a teamtreehouse t-shirt or hoodie?

I'd like to get one to support and represent TeamTreeHouse.

I love this place and what it has to offer.

Thanks in advance!

A t-shirt might also make a neat incentive award.

Say, for reaching some landmark like 50,000 points, or 400 badges, or 1,000 forum "best answers".

Steven,

Where and how did you learn to code? Was it mostly from Treehouse or do you have a formal education?

I've been a software developer for several decades. :older_man:   :point_left:(not an actual likeness)

I've been doing this from before pertinent formal education was generally available.

But I have enjoyed using Treehouse both for review and for learning new technologies, some of which have only been around for a few years (or less!).

P.S. I almost missed your comment, be sure to get someone's attention by tagging them with "@username", as I'll do here for you: Mark Brady

Steven Parker,

Ah, thanks for the help with that!

So you've been doing this professionally for quite a while. That's awesome!

My goal is to become a Freelance Web Developer and I'm going through the Front-End track and will do PHP later. Do you think that the things that are taught here alone ( with many google searches ) will allow me to reach my goal when I'm done with the tracks?

Thanks for your input and time! Happy coding!

From what I've seen of Treehouse, if you truly master the material taught here, you should be a capable developer when you're done. I haven't yet taken any of the server technology tracks myself, but I was favorably impressed by both the Front End Developer track and the Full Stack JavaScript track. But don't overlook the many non-track courses that expand on what's presented in the track courses.

When I do get around to the server technologies, I'll probably start with Ruby/Rails. It happens to be what Treehouse runs on itself.

T-shirts were part of the "swag pack" prizes in the recent New Year's Giveaway.

It's possible that there will be other opportunities to get the shirts or entire packs in the near future.
