I'm studying this topic at my University and would appreciate if someone knows a good and short tutorial about this.

71,830 PointsNino, if you google Big O notation you'll see a long list of sites. Skip the one from Wikipedia. It's not helpful, especially if you are just starting out. The Big O cheatsheet, http://bigocheatsheet.com, has some good graphs.
